Maya Angelou encouraged all of us to refresh our spirits by taking “A Day Away.” In her essay by that name, she writes: “Every person needs to take one day away. A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future. Jobs, lovers, family, employers, and friends can exist one day without any one of us, and if our egos permit us to confess, they could exist eternally in our absence.”

Scheduling A Day Away Retreats
Retreats are designed for individuals, groups and organizations. For example, Dan Gilipsky of Robert W. Baird is planning A Day Away cross country skiing retreat for his clients. I look forward to listening to your wishes and designing the perfect retreat or outdoor adventure for you or your group!
Women of all ages - come on outside! Each adventure takes you to a new place in Wisconsin to try a different activity. No previous experience is necessary, only the ability to engage in easy/moderate exercise and the willingness to try something new.
Encouragement, comraderie and sharing wisdom are the benefits of getting outside in the company of women. Women say that they gain a great sense of accomplishment and personal power for daring to take a chance at doing something they’ve never done before.
You can adventure for less when you pre-register for multiple retreats.
